It is important that a expansion valve function correctly in a refrigerator or freezer circuit. When installing a sweat in expansion valve you should wrap the valve with a damp rag so the internal components of the valve do not get damaged. It is very important that the tx valve bulb be secured tightly to a clean portion of the suction line. In most cases the bulb should be mounted at 10:00 0Clock or 2:00 0Clock for proper metering.
